Ventrilo

Ventrilo is a Voice communication program that allows us to talk using a headset/desktop mic and coordinate our raids. It can be considered one of the primary requirements to raid with us so if you do not have it, don't expect to come with us.

The indifference server uses ventrilo version 2.1. Follow the instructions below to install your ventrilo client.

Read this if you already use ventrilo 2.3 and want to connect to a 2.1 server

• The two primary versions of ventrilo used today are 2.3 and 2.1
• Both versions can be installed on the same computer if you install 2.3 and then 2.1
• You can download 2.3 here
• You can download 2.1 here
• Install 2.3 first
• Install 2.1 second and put it in a different directory than 2.3
• User profile information will be shared between the two copies, so you only have to set it up once
• When loading 2.1 ALWAYS say no to automatically upgrading the software, you must keep it at 2.1
